Well I’ve decided to discontinue my blog. These days to really entertain the viewers you need to be posting continually. I’ve decided to concentrate my time on new projects and updating my website.

I’ve also started a film project website to keep an eye on.

After about 12 years of doing the only thing I really new as a Career, I’ve finally put Graphic Design behind me. My goal now is to pursue what was once my #1 hobby and continue into a career of Photography. I took my Design work down from www.brianhigbee.com a couple days ago. I’ll still be interested in working on side projects if requested but I’m not actively seeking new Graphic Design work. Here’s a couple things I did that I liked the past couple years.

Besides getting booted out of the location by the park rangers in Santa Monica right in the middle of the shoot, we were able to get some solid shots. Here’s Shea Anne from Industry Models from yesterday. Hair and Makeup is by Lauren Goodman.

I don’t have too much to post as of right now. I found an apartment in LA a block over from Paramount Studios. I left everything behind back in Rhode Island so I’m having to get everything all over again, but a fresh start is welcome. Once I get my bearings on the area I’ll get some pictures for the 3 or 4 people that have been following my blog.

On my drive out I came across quite a few Turbine Farms. Here’s a shot of some, these definitely don’t give the magnitude of how many there really are. It’s insane!! Being from the East Coast you definitely don’t see anything like it. Here’s good overview on the subject. “Wind Energy in California”

Well I guess it takes a drive across country for me to start a blog. For those of who don’t know, I live in Rhode Island but am hitting the road to move to California on August 3rd. All I’m taking with me is my camera and laptop and putting the rest in storage.

With that being said, I have many years worth of photos and events that I’d like to post up so everyone can see where I’m coming from. More to come VERY soon!
